UAES SET TO HOLD MAIDEN CONVOCATION LECTURE AND CEREMONY

The University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (UAES), Umuagwo, Imo State, is pleased to announce its Maiden Convocation Lecture and Ceremony, scheduled to hold from Friday, 4th September to Saturday, 5th September 2026.

The historic event marks a major milestone in the growth and development of the University and will bring together members of the University community, graduating students, parents, distinguished guests, government officials and other stakeholders.

The ceremony will be graced by the Executive Governor of Imo State and Visitor to the University, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, as Chief Host.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Christopher C. Eze, will serve as Host and lead the University community in welcoming guests to this landmark occasion.

The programme, comprising the Convocation Lecture and Convocation Ceremony, will take place at the 500 Capacity Hall and University Pavilion, UAES, Umuagwo, with activities scheduled for 11:00 a.m.

The Maiden Convocation represents an important chapter in the history of UAES as the University celebrates academic excellence, scholarship, innovation and the achievements of its graduating students.

Members of the University community, invited guests and the general public are warmly welcomed to be part of this historic celebration.
